Long Time No Blog (But for a Very Good Reason)

Well… hello again 👋
If this blog had a “last seen” status, it would probably say “a while ago.”

Before anyone thinks I’ve vanished into the creative abyss forever—let me reassure you: I’ve been busy. Really busy. Just… in another corner of my creative universe.

Over the past months, I poured a huge amount of time, energy, and caffeine into setting up a new additional business, Rookie Roo Journals, and it’s been one of those all-consuming, exciting, “how is it midnight already?” kinds of projects. Worth every second—but yes, it did mean this crafty business had to sit patiently in the background for a bit.

Thanks for waiting. You were very polite about it.

Plot Twist: I’m Back

Here’s the good news: this year, I’m officially putting my back into my crafty business again—and I’m doing it with fresh eyes, new ideas, and a much clearer sense of direction.

Instead of doing all the things, I’m choosing to do the right things.

That means I’m:

  • Niche-ing down my product line (because chaos is not a business strategy)
  • Letting go of what no longer fits
  • Making space for new, fresh, exciting creations that feel more me than ever

Less “throw everything at the wall,” more “this sparks joy and makes sense.”

A Creative Reset

This isn’t about starting over—it’s about refining.

I’ve learned a lot over the last year, especially about focus, consistency, and trusting my creative instincts. This time around, I’m building with intention, not overwhelm. Expect products that are thoughtfully designed, beautifully made, and still very much sprinkled with that handmade nature inspired magic.

And yes—there will be new creations making their debut soon. The kind that make you say, “Ohhh, that’s cute” (or at least smile knowingly).

Stick Around—The Fun Part Is Coming

I might not blog here often, but this little corner of my business is far from forgotten. If anything, it’s stepping into a more confident, clearer version of itself.

So consider this your official catch-up:
I didn’t disappear.
I was creating.
And now I’m back—with materials, fresh ideas and slightly more organisation than before.

Watch this space
