100% acrylic yarn. I have made this in a chequered pattern creating squares throughout the poncho. It is stripy with several shades of purple/burgundy and dark pink throughout. The seam is down the back of the right arm. lightweight to wear and will fit up to age 8-12 years (photos show on ten year old model) I have fringed the poncho all the way around and the poncho has been knitted in a volcano style (long at the front and a little shorter at the back). The Poncho measures 31 inches at the front including the tassels and 21 inches at the back including the tassels. Machine washable on wool cycle.
